Warm and inviting atmosphere. The artful decor and the relaxed pace made our days good. I particularly enjoyed Vaughan's stories about each piece. The location was ideal, though sometimes the quietness felt a bit too serene for my taste.

This place is fantastic and colorful because of the marvellous location and city views. Stay here and enjoy your Charleston weekend.

Well-appointed and well-maintained room plus a lounge area, complementary tea, and a kitchenette. Big size private bathroom. Location close to Fort Sumter and the Aiken-Rhett house, restaurants which is nice and old, historical Charleston.

Staying in the room felt quite confining, and the lack of a shower was unacceptable. I initially thought I could manage with just a bathtub, but the experience quickly wore thin. The dim lighting.

Couple Southern experience

Vaughn treated us like family and prepared the most delicious southern breakfasts each morning. I loved how she gave us a personal tour of the area, pointing out the old homes and sharing bits of Charleston's history.

It wasn't cheap but the quality and experience made it still acceptable.

Staying at 22 charlotte bed & breakfast was a treat! The historical home was beautiful, and the location was perfect on a quiet street close to great shops and food. Ms. Vaughan was accommodating, and her breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We loved every minute of our stay!

The room felt a bit darker than I preferred, which impacted the overall ambiance.

22 Charlotte bed & breakfast is a beautiful historical home with a lovely atmosphere. It's within walking distance to great food and shops in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The breakfasts were decadent, and ms. Alsbrook provided excellent dinner recommendations. We appreciated her friendly hospitality and even got a ride around town!

Although the only bathing facility was a bathtub, it added to the historic experience but could be a drawback for those preferring a shower. The cozy ambience, with fires crackling in the winter. The room was kept a touch darker than I liked, perhaps to preserve the charm. I also found the neighborhood peaceful, but sometimes the street could get busier than expected.

The room at 22 Charlotte was reasonably large. the central location of the hotel made it easy to explore the Historic District. - I enjoyed dining at Ted's Butcherblock, which was just a short walk away from the hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed my excellent stay for a long weekend getaway. Always well-maintained and huge rooms with the big 4 poster bed. - the hotel had a central location and it was extremely close to a massive aquarium.

The hotel is fabulous and clean. the rooms are big and airy. - the staff is very good and amiable. - the property offers delicious breakfast with toast and ham. - the location is marvelous and comfortable, minutes from a massive aquarium. - the area is beautiful and near the SC Aquarium. - This is the best place to stay in Charleston.
